Famous journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Iniesta has reached a final agreement with Gulf United Club to take over the team’s technical leadership. Iniesta had hinted at this transition last February, stating: “I am currently preparing to obtain my coaching certificate here in Dubai.
I will finalize matters here, and the situation may change starting next summer. We will see what happens,” indicating his clear ambition to enter the coaching world.
Gulf United Club was established in Dubai in 2019 and currently competes in the UAE second division league.
