Wahbi Calls Up 28 Players for Moroccan National Team in Crucial Preparatory Camp Before the World Cup

National coach Mohamed Wahbi, the coach of the Moroccan national team, announced today the list of players called up to participate in an intensive preparatory camp, ahead of finalizing the final roster that will represent Morocco in the World Cup.

This step comes as part of the final preparations for the Lions, as Wahbi seeks to put the finishing touches on the ideal lineup.

Wahbi invited 28 players, including prominent names such as Sofiane Boufal, the star of French club Le Havre, Imran Louza and Othman M’Maarma from English club Watford, in addition to the striker from Maghreb Fassi, Sofiane Benjdida.

The list also included other distinguished players, including Yanis Bcrawi, who plays in the Portuguese league with Estoril, reflecting the coach’s keenness to include the best available players for the Moroccan national team.

This preparatory camp represents a crucial opportunity for the technical staff to assess the players’ physical and technical readiness, and to determine the best combination before announcing the final World Cup list.
