The Moroccan coach Jamal Al-Salami, head coach of the Jordanian national team, announced today the preliminary list for the “Nashama” in preparation for the 2026 World Cup finals.
This important step comes as part of serious preparations for the tournament hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
The list announced by Jamal Al-Salami for the Jordanian national team included the player “Sharara” in an extended roster of 30 players.
These players will gather to play two highly important friendly matches, where the Jordanian national team will face their Swiss and Colombian counterparts.
These two matches aim to raise the technical and physical readiness of the players and coordinate the team ranks before heading to the World Cup.
The Jordanian national team is scheduled to face Switzerland in a friendly on May 31 at “Küchen Park” stadium in the Swiss city of St. Gallen.
After that, the “Nashama” will meet the Colombian team on June 7 at “Snapdragon” stadium.
These friendly matches hold great importance for Jamal Al-Salami and the Jordanian national team to finalize the main lineup and set tactical plans suitable for facing the major global teams.
It is worth noting that the 2026 World Cup draw placed the Jordanian national team in Group 10, facing strong teams including Argentina, the title holder, Algeria, and Austria, which presents a significant challenge for Jamal Al-Salami and the Jordanian national team to achieve positive results in this global event.
