In a move to support and motivate the players, Fawzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, visited the members of the Moroccan Under-17 national team at their residence at the Mohammed VI Center in Salé on Tuesday morning, ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations competitions hosted by Morocco.
This visit was aimed at boosting the morale of the players and technical staff, during which Lekjaa delivered an inspirational speech emphasizing the importance of exerting maximum effort to achieve the best results in this important continental tournament.
The tournament represents an opportunity for young talents to showcase their abilities and represent their nation’s name.
The Moroccan team is set to start the competition today, Wednesday, with a strong match against the Tunisian team in the opening game to be held at the Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat.
The Moroccan team enters this tournament as the defending champions of the previous edition held in Morocco, which places a great responsibility on them to maintain this achievement and win a new title in their football journey.
