The Royal Army team is finalizing its preparations today, Wednesday, at its training center, in anticipation of the highly awaited match against Mamelodi Sundowns next Sunday, as part of the first leg of the Africa Champions League final. Attention is focused on the Royal Army delegation preparing for this decisive match.
The club’s management plans to hold a group dinner this evening for the 50-member delegation, headed by the delegate president General Boubker Al-Ayoubi.
Following this event, the delegation will depart directly to Johannesburg on a direct flight, with hopes of achieving a positive result in South Africa.
The “military” group will have their first training session tomorrow, Thursday, followed by an official session on Friday at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria city, which will host the match.
It is noted that the team delegation will return directly to Rabat after the match in preparation for the second leg.
It is worth mentioning that all players are ready for the match except for player Fallou Mendy, whose medical tests indicated he needs more rest, preventing him from playing in the first leg but expected to be ready for the second leg.
Positive atmosphere prevails within the ranks of the Royal Army, supported by the players’ strong determination to return with a positive result ahead of the decisive second leg.
