The management board of Raja Club, headed by Jawad Ziyat, is reviewing several resumes of coaching candidates for the position and has entered into negotiations with some of them before making the final decision on the new team leader. The administration is counting on choosing a figure capable of steering the team back onto the right path.
Hicham Abu Sharwan is expected to be on the bench of the “Green Eagles” in the upcoming match against Ittihad Touarga this Sunday, as part of the 24th round of the professional league competition.
The team hopes to achieve a positive result to keep its hopes alive in competing for the league title, which has seen intensified rivalry recently.
Currently, Raja sits in fifth place in the standings with 42 points, trailing the leader Nahdat Berkane by four points.
Meanwhile, Ittihad Touarga holds the 13th position with 20 points. Raja aims to secure a victory to strengthen its position in the race for the title.
