In a decisive step to ensure team stability and achieve its ambitious goals, Raja Sports Club announced today the renewal of its player Adam Al-Nafati’s contract for an additional sports season, following fruitful negotiations that resulted in an agreement satisfying both parties.
This renewal comes at a very critical time, as Al-Nafati represents one of the fundamental pillars in the team’s lineup, and he has contributed effectively to the outstanding performance of the Green Eagles this season.
The Raja management was racing against time to finalize the renewal of Al-Nafati’s contract before the deadline on May 30, a clause included in the previous contract signed by the management last season under the supervision of Abdullah Birwan, after the resignation of the former president Adel Hala.
This step confirms the club’s keenness to retain its prominent players who form the backbone of the team and its aspirations to strongly compete for titles in the upcoming seasons.
It is worth noting that this renewal is the second for Adam Al-Nafati within a short period, as he renewed his contract at the end of last season for one season as well.
The club’s insistence on renewing Al-Nafati’s contract reflects great confidence in his technical abilities and tactical importance on the field, which provides the necessary stability to the team as the current season nears its end and preparations for the new season begin.
Meanwhile, Raja’s management also entered negotiations with midfielder Boukrin to renew his contract, which similarly requires a decision before May 30.
The club faces a challenge in this regard, as the professional league has not yet ended, and the management fears that the unresolved status of continental participation next season may affect players’ decisions.
It is also worth mentioning that Raja had previously renewed the contract of player Sakho, after being obligated to notify him of the renewal before April 30, while awaiting a final decision regarding his future at the end of the season.
