Raja Athletic Club today rejected the proposal submitted by its counterpart Hassania Agadir regarding the inclusion of goalkeeper Khalid Al-Alawi within the ongoing summer transfer deals. Press reports confirmed that the Soussi club proposed a swap deal for Al-Alawi to join their ranks in exchange for Raja acquiring the services of Portuguese defender Ukledis Cabral.
Officials of Raja justified this refusal by stating that they currently do not need a right-back since the team already has distinguished players in this position such as Mohamed Bouksout and Ayoub Almaloud. Additionally, the Green Club expressed its desire to receive financial compensation instead of entering into swap deals in exchange for parting ways with Khalid Al-Alawi.
Hassania Agadir club is expected to present a new financial offer in the coming days to sign Khalid Al-Alawi, especially since coach Hilal Al-Tayer insisted on acquiring the goalkeeper to strengthen the goalkeeping position in his team.
