The members of Raja Athletic Club issued a statement today expressing their strong dissatisfaction with the refereeing and organizational decisions that accompanied their latest match against the Royal Army Club.
In their statement, the members pointed to the “double standards in the application of the law and the absence of the principle of equal opportunities.”
The members also expressed deep concern about the management of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology, especially in crucial moments, affirming that some decisions “lacked accuracy and clarity,” raising questions about the credibility of this technology in the national championship.
The statement also criticized the “organizational imbalances” that marred the match, expressing solidarity with the affected fans.
The Raja members extended their appreciation to the security personnel for their efforts in maintaining order and ensuring the safety of the fans inside the stadium.
They called on the National Professional Football League to open an urgent investigation and publish the audio recordings of the “VAR” room to ensure transparency and accountability.
The statement concluded by affirming the members’ commitment to the values of integrity and sports justice, emphasizing their continued defense of the club’s interests and its fans through all available legal and institutional means, while maintaining respect for institutions and sportsmanship.
