The authorities responsible for managing football affairs in Morocco are moving towards issuing a decision to ban fans from traveling to support their clubs outside the stadium. This move comes following the unfortunate riots witnessed around Moulay Abdellah Complex in Rabat yesterday during a decisive match between the Royal Army team and Raja Athletic Club.

This decision is expected within the context of a comprehensive review of the fan travel experience, which saw significant openness in recent years. Although this experience contributed to enlivening the stands and adding a competitive atmosphere, the recurrence of riots has led to a reassessment of these gains.

These developments pose a new challenge in balancing the need to ensure security inside the stadiums and their surroundings while preserving the spirit of football entertainment. Repeated unsportsmanlike behaviors negatively impact the flow of competitions and cause concern among sports followers.

It is worth noting that the Moulay Abdellah Complex in Rabat witnessed acts of violence and riots between the fans of both teams yesterday evening during the seventeenth round of the professional league, bringing the issue of fan travel back to the forefront of public debate, awaiting the outcomes of final decisions in this regard.
