Moroccan Olympic international player Bilal Nadir is receiving significant interest from French club Strasbourg, which is closely monitoring him in anticipation of potentially signing him during the upcoming summer transfer window, according to the sports news website “Africa Foot”.

Nadir’s contract with French club Olympique Marseille is ending soon, making him an attractive target for many European clubs. Strasbourg, according to the source, is exploring the possibility of retaining the Olympique Marseille midfielder in the French league, with a current focus on the financial aspects of the deal.

The competition to sign Nadir is intensifying, as several European clubs have shown interest in acquiring him on a free transfer, given that no agreement has been reached with Marseille regarding the extension of his contract so far.

Bilal Nadir is considered a strong option for Strasbourg to strengthen their squad, especially given his technical abilities that have caught attention.

Nadir joined Marseille in 2021 from Nice, but his path with the southern club was affected by a serious knee injury, which impacted his development and his status as a starter in the team. Despite this, the young player’s qualifications, particularly his offensive performance ability and adaptability to youth-focused projects, continue to attract the interest of many clubs.

The player has featured in 28 matches across various competitions this season, scoring two goals and providing five assists, which confirms his technical value.

Among other European clubs interested in the former Nice player, stand out Girona and Villarreal from the Spanish league, along with Leeds United from the English Premier League.

All these clubs are considering making official offers to sign the player.

Nadir, an Olympique Marseille player, was called up in November 2023 to the Moroccan Olympic national team squad for two friendly matches against Denmark and the United States, confirming his international stature, and Bilal Nadir Strasbourg might be his next major step in his football career.
