Maghreb Fassi team returned with a precious away victory against Ittihad Touarga by one goal to nil, in the match held as part of the 20th round of the first professional league at the City Stadium in Rabat, with an attendance of no more than 1,200 spectators, allowing Maghreb Fassi to snatch both the win and the top position in the standings.
The beginning of the match witnessed caution from both sides, and as the minutes passed, Ittihad Touarga initiated attacks seeking to win and move away from the danger zone. This victory returned the sons of the scientific capital to the top of the standings with 41 points, while Ittihad Touarga finds itself seriously threatened with relegation from the top league and must reconsider its strategies after this negative result against Maghreb Fassi.
