In a move that reflects great interest in the journey of the Lions, Fouzi Loukjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, visited the Moroccan national team’s accommodation in New Jersey, as part of his close follow-up on the preparations of the national elite for the 2026 World Cup finals, hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
This visit comes amid the intensive preparations made by Hakim Ziyech’s teammates for the highly anticipated global competition, where Loukjaa made sure to meet with members of the Moroccan delegation and closely observe the atmosphere within the camp and the training facilities.
The Federation President affirmed his full support to the technical staff and players, emphasizing the great confidence the Federation places in this ambitious group, which has previously achieved historic milestones, most notably reaching the semi-finals in the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
This initiative highlights the Royal Moroccan Football Federation’s commitment to providing all the necessary elements for the Moroccan national team’s success.
The visit confirms the continuation of the ambitious sports project that has made Morocco one of the rising football forces on the international scene in recent years, through continuous support for players and technical and administrative staff.
It is noteworthy that the national team is preparing for a tough match against its Brazilian counterpart tomorrow, Saturday, at 6 PM New Jersey time (11 PM Morocco time), at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The Moroccan public hopes that this visit will serve as a moral boost for the Lions to achieve a strong start in their World Cup journey.
