Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, extended his congratulations to the AS FAR team following their successful qualification for the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League.
This qualification came after the military team managed to overcome Pyramids in the quarter-finals, securing the return leg with a 2-1 victory in the match hosted at the Air Defense Stadium in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
The first leg, which took place in the capital Rabat, had ended in a 1-1 draw. The Moroccan football representative thus confirmed their superiority over both legs and successfully continued their continental journey.
