Ayoub Bouadi, a new addition to the Moroccan national team, expressed his immense happiness in representing the “Atlas Lions,” affirming that his choice of Morocco was the right decision, especially after the warm welcome he received within the national group during the preparatory camp at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, in preparation for the 2026 World Cup finals.
In exclusive statements to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation channel, Ayoub Bouadi indicated that the coach and the president’s words from the beginning, that choosing Morocco was the correct path, were confirmed to him in reality since his arrival.
Bouadi added: “Everything here is perfect, the infrastructure is at a very high level, the atmosphere within the team is excellent, and I am very proud of this choice.”
The Lille French player also expressed great admiration for the facilities provided by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, confirming that the Mohammed VI Complex includes some of the best facilities globally, praising the players’ quality and their ability to achieve great accomplishments in the future.
For his part, Sofiane Benjedida confirmed that the atmosphere inside the “Atlas Lions” camp is proceeding under extremely ideal conditions, noting the harmony and brotherhood among all players.
Benjedida said: “It is a great honor for me to wear the Moroccan national team jersey, and I will do my utmost to live up to expectations and secure my place, and even if I am not called up to the final list, I will support my teammates until the very end.”
Yesterday, the national team had an intensive training session at the Mohammed VI Complex, where the national coach Mohammed Wahbi focused on technical and tactical aspects to enhance understanding among players. This preparatory camp continues until May 26, before playing a friendly match and announcing the final lineup for the 2026 World Cup.
