The public prosecution in Rabat ordered placing 136 individuals under judicial custody, in addition to keeping two minors under surveillance, on suspicion of involvement in the riot that occurred yesterday, Thursday, during the match between FAR Rabat and Raja CA.

These measures are part of the judicial investigation to identify the instigators and participants in the unfortunate events that damaged the reputation of national football and were broadcast on international channels.

Meanwhile, the company responsible for managing Prince Moulay Abdullah Stadium will assess the damages and submit a report to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation to obligate the team whose fans caused the riot to bear the financial costs.

The match witnessed unfortunate riots among the fans of both teams, including chaos, intrusion into the press area, and the uprooting of chairs. The match ended with FAR Rabat defeating Raja by two goals to one, raising their points tally to 35, chasing the leader Maghreb de Fès who has 37 points.
