Today marked the start of Wydad’s preparations for the new season with an intensive training session under the supervision of Portuguese coach Paulo Sergio Brito at the Wellins Complex. These training sessions aim to prepare the red team to face upcoming challenges both locally and continentally, amid great anticipation from the fans.
The training session was highlighted by the participation of Moroccan star Hakim Ziyash, who joined his teammates in preparation for the new football season. The session also witnessed the presence of new signings made by the club during the summer transfer window, including Yahya Attia Allah, Yahya Jibran, and Ayman Al-Hassouni, reflecting Wydad’s ambition to strengthen its squad.
The participation was not limited to new stars only but also included players returning from loan, led by Osama Al-Zamrawi and Maad Onzo. Forward Slimani Mualimo also joined after confirming his continuity with the team, providing the coach with additional options to form a strong and balanced team to compete in the upcoming competitions as part of Wydad’s preparations for the new season.
