The Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Washington has issued a special guide directed towards fans of the Moroccan national team who wish to travel to the United States to support the “Atlas Lions” at the 2026 World Cup finals.
This guide aims to simplify travel and accommodation procedures and ensure a smooth experience for the supporters.
The guide includes important details regarding U.S. visas, stating that fans must apply for a B1/B2 visa, complete the DS-160 form, and pay the required fees.
It also explains how to benefit from the “FIFA Pass” system, which speeds up visa interview appointments at the U.S. Consulate General in Casablanca, while emphasizing that this system is not a visa itself and does not guarantee automatic visa issuance.
The guide stresses the necessity of early hotel bookings and comprehensive health insurance to cover any emergencies, given the high healthcare costs in the United States.
The guide provides travel options, mentioning the direct flights offered by Royal Air Maroc from Casablanca to New York, Washington, and Miami, in addition to the new Los Angeles route launching in June 2026.
It also refers to direct flights provided by United Airlines and Delta Airlines from Marrakech. The “Atlas Lions” group stage matches will be accompanied by Moroccan national team fans at MetLife Stadium against Brazil on June 13, at Gillette Stadium against Scotland on June 19, and at Mercedes-Benz Stadium against Haiti on June 24.
The embassy confirms the provision of mobile consulates and special help lines in the cities hosting the national team’s matches to facilitate procedures and provide emergency support to Moroccan national team fans.
