The fourth edition of the International Northern Cycling Tour, scheduled to take place from May 13 to 17 this year, commemorates the 23rd birthday of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan. The event features national teams and international clubs representing several brotherly and friendly countries, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, France, Spain, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
During a press conference organized on the evening of Monday at the headquarters of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, the Royal Moroccan Cycling Federation, in partnership with the regional league and with the support of its council, officially announced the organization of the fourth edition of the tour across several cities and villages in northern Morocco. These include Ksar El Kebir, Oued Laou, Al-Jibha, Al Hoceima, Iskane, Chefchaouen, Ouezzane, Ksar El-Kebir, and Tangier.
This conference, held by the President of the Royal Moroccan Cycling Federation, Mr. Mohamed Ben Malha, and the tour director, Mrs. Maryam Rahmouni, with the presence of members from the regional council, was dedicated to outlining this international sports event, revealing the details of its stages, the participating national and international teams, as well as the sporting, touristic, and developmental objectives that the organizers aim to achieve through this distinguished sports event whose influence continues to grow edition after edition.
The organization of this international sporting event confirms the growing status of the Northern Tour within the calendar of major national events aimed at showcasing the natural, economic, cultural, and touristic potentials of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region.
