The young Moroccan midfielder, Soufiane Ghoulam, signed his first professional contract in his football career with the German capital club, Hertha Berlin, extending his commitment to the club until June 2027.

This step confirms the great confidence the club places in his talent and technical abilities, heralding a promising future for the player within the first team.

The 20-year-old Ghoulam has emerged as one of the most prominent rising talents in Hertha Berlin’s academy.

During the current season, the player succeeded in establishing himself as a key and central member of the club’s under-23 team and has regularly participated in first team training sessions over the past months, reflecting his maturity and quick adaptation to professional requirements.

In this context, Hertha Berlin’s sporting director, Benjamin Weber, praised Soufiane Ghoulam’s rapid development at the club, affirming that the player made excellent use of the opportunity this season and expressed the club’s enthusiasm to continue monitoring his progress in the coming years.

Ghoulam also joined Hertha Berlin in 2019 and progressed through the club’s various age groups, drawing attention this season with his distinctive statistics in the “Regionalliga Nordost” league, where he scored 4 goals and provided 4 assists, making him a focal point for the first team’s coaching staff.
