The managements of Raja and Wydad sports teams announced today their representatives in the management of the National Professional Football League, during the ordinary and extraordinary general assemblies held at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maâmoura.
This step comes to ensure strong representation for the two most popular clubs in Morocco within the body managing professional football affairs.
Raja Sports Club selected the secretary-general, Jawad Al-Amin, who previously held the same position in Jawad Ziyat’s office, to be its official representative in the league.
On the other hand, Wydad Sports Club decided to appoint Dr. Kamal Al-Disawi, the first deputy to Hicham Ait Mena, to represent the red fortress in the National Professional Football League.
This choice confirms the Casablanca giants’ keenness on active participation in shaping the future of Moroccan football.
This announcement comes as part of clubs’ efforts to avoid any administrative vacancy and to confirm their representatives within the new board of the professional league, ensuring continuity of work and the development of the football system.
These decisions reflect the commitment of the big clubs to provide competencies capable of making a difference in the kingdom’s football scene.
It is worth noting that Abdel Salam Belkchour was re-elected unanimously as president of the National Professional Football League for a second term extending over four years.
Belkchour’s election came after submitting a single candidate list during the ordinary and extraordinary general assemblies’ sessions, confirming the clubs’ confidence in his leadership of the league.
