Today, Ittihad Touarga Club confirmed the inaccuracy of media reports suggesting ongoing negotiations between the German club Schalke 04 and their player Ben Teb, following rumors of a failed transfer deal.
The club emphasized that all news circulating in some French media outlets regarding this matter lack any basis in truth, and that the club has not received any official offer or direct contact from Schalke’s management regarding their interest in contracting the player.
These clarifications come in response to press reports indicating that disagreements in negotiations were the cause of Ben Teb’s failed transfer to the German league.
However, Ittihad Touarga completely denied this narrative, confirming that there is no official offer from the German club or any other team to date, which refutes claims of a failed transfer deal.
The Touarga team clarified that player Ben Teb had previously spent a loan period in the French league valued at 250 million centimes before returning to the club after the loan period ended.
It was noted that the loan agreement did not include a buyout clause, confirming that the player is still under the umbrella of Ittihad Touarga.
The future of player Ben Teb remains linked to his contract with Ittihad Touarga until the summer of 2029, as the club holds a valid contract with him.
While awaiting any possible official offers in the near future, the player’s market value is estimated at around 5 million euros, according to press reports, making him a potential target for some clubs seeking to strengthen their squads. However, so far, no transfer involving Ben Teb has been made.
