Arsenal was officially crowned the English Premier League champion after their pursuer Manchester City stumbled yesterday, Tuesday, on the ground of their host Bournemouth with a result of (1-1) in the thirty-seventh round of the “Premier League” competitions.

This disappointing draw dashed City’s hopes of catching up with the “Gunners,” announcing Arsenal’s victory in the English Premier League title after a long absence.

The French player Elie Junior Kroupi opened the scoring for the home team in the 40th minute, putting Bournemouth ahead and increasing the pressure on Manchester City.

At a time when the match seemed to be heading towards a Bournemouth win, Norwegian Erling Haaland equalized for Manchester City in the 90+5 minute, granting his team one point that was not enough to keep their hopes alive in the title race.

With this draw, the points gap between Manchester City and Arsenal became four points, with City holding 78 points in second place, while Arsenal leads with 82 points.

With only one round left until the end of the current Premier League season, Manchester City can no longer catch up with the “Gunners.”

Based on this result, Arsenal won the Premier League title that its fans have been waiting for since the 2003-2004 season, achieving a historic achievement.

On another note, Bournemouth enhanced their hopes of qualifying for the next edition of the UEFA Champions League after raising their points tally to 56 points in sixth place, only three points behind Liverpool in fifth place.

This valuable draw may be decisive in Bournemouth’s journey toward fulfilling the dream of European participation. Arsenal’s title win is a significant sporting event in the club’s history.
