Moroccan international Naïl Al-Ainawi, Roma midfielder, was subjected to a serious armed robbery inside his home in the Italian capital, Rome, in an incident that sparked widespread concern within sports circles.
According to consistent Italian press reports, six masked and armed individuals broke into the player’s home located in the “Castel Fusano” neighborhood around 3:00 AM, after breaking the living room window and forcibly entering.
The same sources added that the assailants detained Al-Ainawi and several of his family members inside one of the house rooms before conducting a thorough search of its contents looking for valuable possessions.
The robbery resulted in the theft of jewelry and valuable items estimated at around 10,000 euros, including a luxury “Rolex” watch and bags bearing renowned brand names.
Upon receiving the report, police units arrived at the scene and began investigations to identify the perpetrators and understand the circumstances of this assault. No physical injuries were recorded among the player or his family members.
