Apology and Clarification Regarding the News About Player Felipe

At kooralife, we offer a sincere apology to our followers for the mistake we made in publishing news claiming that the Brazilian player Riquelme Felipe Silva Almeida had signed with Raja Club Athletic, before it became clear that the player the club contracted was Felipe Silva dos Anjos.

The error was not only due to the similarity in names but also resulted from a series of investigations that unfortunately led to incorrect information, after relying on a source we had previously considered reliable.

After apologizing, we also feel obligated to explain to our followers what happened—not to justify the mistake, but out of respect for the public’s right to know the circumstances that caused it and to fully assume responsibility for publishing the information ultimately.

In a country like Morocco, accessing official information remains extremely difficult in many fields, especially football news, where many clubs choose to keep their transaction details confidential and often refuse to provide any data to the media, making journalistic work more complex and opening the door to multiple narratives and unofficial sources.

Specifically, this matter began after information circulated about a Brazilian player arriving in Morocco to sign for Raja Club Athletic.

Following that, our correspondent initiated investigations through sources connected to the airport, then through a source at one of the hotels, and from both sides, we received confirmation of the arrival of a Brazilian player named Felipe and that someone associated with Raja Club was there to receive him.

Out of respect for the privacy of guests and travelers, we could not then obtain the player’s full name.

We then tried to contact officials inside Raja Club Athletic for official confirmation but did not get a reply.

Later, a member of the “office” confirmed to us that the player in question was Felipe, number 28 at the Brazilian Fluminense club.

We also contacted the player’s agent to verify, but received no response. The player’s market value raised many questions for us and made us wonder about the feasibility of completing such a deal, yet in the end, we trusted the information provided by the source.

At the same time, the official Raja Club Athletic page posted promotional material for a new deal, showing a jersey bearing the number 10 alongside the Brazilian flag, which we then considered an additional indicator reinforcing the information we had obtained and prompted us to publish the news.

We assumed that such a promotional campaign with the choice of number 10 especially might be linked to a player with a certain reputation or artistic value. We did not expect the player concerned to be the name announced later.

But all these details do not change the fundamental truth: we published incorrect information.

Despite multiple signs and the source’s confirmation, we should have waited to obtain more conclusive evidence before publishing the player’s name. The responsibility for what was published lies with us and cannot be attributed to any other party before our followers.

On this basis, on behalf of all the members of the kooralife team, we renew our sincere apology to all our loyal followers and to everyone who placed their trust in the news we provide.

Your trust is the foundation of our work, and this mistake compels us, above all, to acknowledge it, correct it, and review how we handle such news in the future to prevent recurrence.
