Moroccan star Sofyan Zalzouli shone again as he emerged as the hero in the Real Betis match against Real Sociedad, held as part of the 35th round of the Spanish La Liga.
Zalzouli scored a wonderful goal in the 47th minute, leading his team Real Betis to a valuable 2-2 draw in a match that witnessed great competitiveness at the Sociedad stadium.
Real Betis initially took the lead with a goal from Brazilian player Antony in the 39th minute, before the home team equalized by scoring two goals in the 79th and 90+1 minutes, the latter from a penalty kick.
With this goal, Zalzouli increased his tally to 9 goals in 26 matches this season, including 23 starts, confirming his great importance in the Real Betis squad.
Real Betis currently occupies fifth place in the league table with 54 points, qualifying them for the UEFA Champions League next season. Zalzouli’s team aims to maintain this important position to secure continental competition participation.
