The management of Wydad Athletic Club has decided to terminate the contract of French coach Patrice Cartieron due to declining results, after managing only five matches since the beginning of April.
This decision comes as the team failed to achieve positive results under his leadership, prompting the club’s management to move towards letting him go.
The Wydad board is scheduled to hold a meeting with Cartieron to reach an amicable agreement to terminate the contract, which was originally supposed to last until the end of the current season with a renewal clause if the championship was won.
Wydad has already started contacting several coaches to find a successor for Cartieron, hoping to restore the team’s form and achieve the season’s set goals.
