The Raja Athletic team resumed its training today, Tuesday, September 22, 2026, after a two-day break, in preparation for the start of its journey in the professional league. This step comes as the club awaits its anticipated match against Nahdat Zemamra next week.
The technical staff, led by Spanish coach Paco Jémez, had granted the players a short vacation following the friendly match against Amal Tiznit held last Saturday at the club’s academy, which ended with Raja winning 1-0.
The resumption of Raja’s training comes at a time when its opening match in the professional league against the Royal Army team has been postponed. The reason for the postponement is due to the commitments of four players from the military team with their national teams, a decision made by the National Professional Football League.
The green team will continue its intensive preparations in the upcoming period, in readiness to play its first official match of the new football season against Nahdat Zemamra, as part of the second round of the professional league, after being unable to play the opening round match on its scheduled date.
