The draw for the new season of the professional league, held today Friday, revealed a packed schedule for Wydad Athletic Club, as fans of Moroccan football eagerly anticipate fiery matches for the red team. This schedule includes Wydad’s matches in the much-awaited professional league, especially the thrilling “Clasico” against the Royal Army and the historic “derby” against their traditional rival Raja Athletic Club.
The league competition is set to start on September 24th, and the draw scheduled the eighth round for the showdown between Wydad Athletic Club and the Royal Army in the summit of Moroccan football, while the eleventh week will host the highly anticipated Casablanca derby between Wydad and Raja Athletic Club, adding more excitement to this football season.
Wydad’s squad will begin their journey by facing Wydad Temara in the first round, followed by challenges against teams such as Difaâ Hassani El Jadidi, Mâakoudi Club, Amal Tiznit Union, and Touarga Union. Wydad will also face Moghreb Tétouan and Kawkab Marrakech before clashing with the Royal Army.
