Amrabat’s departure from Fenerbahçe is imminent this summer, as the Turkish club sets a 20 million euros fee as a basic condition to let go of their Moroccan player Sofyan Amrabat, who has been excluded from coach İsmail Kartal’s plans for the new football season.
Media reports revealed that Fenerbahçe had previously received offers below 10 million euros, before the Saudi club Al-Ittihad submitted an official offer worth 15 million euros, including bonuses.
Despite this attractive offer, Fenerbahçe’s management insists on receiving the specified amount to complete the transfer of the Moroccan midfielder.
Negotiations have not stopped with Al-Ittihad only, as Fenerbahçe continues talks with another Saudi club, in addition to two European clubs that have shown interest in signing the 29-year-old midfielder.
It seems there is a fierce race to secure Amrabat’s services before the closing of the summer transfer window.
It is worth noting that Amrabat is under contract with Fenerbahçe for two more seasons, after spending last season on loan at Spanish club Real Betis.
Expectations indicate that the coming few days will witness the resolution of the fate of this international player and the decision on whether Fenerbahçe’s desire for Amrabat’s transfer fee will be met.
