Exciting Developments Linking Amouta, Al Ahly, and Elneny After His Departure from Al Jazira

Attention is once again turning to the Red Castle, as accelerated press reports reveal the possibility of a meeting between the veteran coach Hussein Amouta and the former Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny within the walls of Al Ahly club.

These speculations came after Elneny officially announced his departure from the UAE’s Al Jazira team on Wednesday, following the administration’s decision not to renew his contract, thus ending a chapter in his football career while expressing his sincere thanks to all components of the Emirati club and wishing them success in future endeavors.

These news coincided with Amouta’s nearing to take over the leadership of the first team at Al Ahly Egypt, where sources close to the club indicated that the Moroccan coach held in-depth discussions with Sayed Abdel Hafeez about the positions needing reinforcement, particularly in the attack, midfield, and defense lines.

These discussions raised the name of Mohamed Elneny as a possible option to strengthen the midfield, despite no direct request from Amouta to sign the player by name so far.

In a related context, it seems that Al Ahly club’s administration has made significant progress in completing the procedures to contract Hussein Amouta to coach the team for two seasons, succeeding the Danish coach Jes Thorup.

Amouta is expected to arrive in Cairo soon for the official announcement of his appointment, which Egyptian football fans eagerly await to follow the results of this anticipated contract and its impact on the performances of Amouta, Al Ahly, and Elneny.

Despite all these developments, Hussein Amouta maintains diplomatic silence regarding his association with Al Ahly club, asserting that a real agreement is not just about signing contracts, implying that the matter requires careful study and calculated steps before the official disclosure. This ambiguity adds more suspense to the fate of the deal and its effect on the future of the player Mohamed Elneny.
