In an important step for the club’s future, the administrative office of Wydad Athletic Club, headed by Hicham Ait Mina, has set July 15 as the date for the ordinary electoral general assembly.
This decision came during a meeting held by the president with members yesterday evening at the Mohamed Benjelloun Stadium, preparing for the election of a new president to lead the team in the upcoming phase.
Sources indicate that the administrative office carefully chose this date to ensure the electoral process proceeds smoothly and transparently.
This general assembly is expected to witness significant changes in the club’s leadership, as a new figure will be chosen to take charge after the current president’s term ends.
This announcement comes as part of the administrative office’s commitment to respecting its responsibilities and obligations towards the club and its fans.
Concurrently, Wydad Athletic Club announced the opening of membership registration for the 2026-2027 season, from May 5 to June 5, according to the conditions and procedures established within the club.
The administrative office also decided to open nominations for the club presidency from June 5 to June 20, in preparation for the major event in mid-July that will witness the inauguration of a new president.
