The National Professional Football League announced yesterday strict precautionary measures following recent unsportsmanlike incidents witnessed in national stadiums, especially during the match between FAR Rabat and Raja Casablanca at Prince Moulay Abdullah Stadium.
This decision came after an extensive meeting held on Friday, May 1, which included various stakeholders involved in national football, aiming to reduce the escalating phenomenon of riots.
The new measures include banning visiting fans from traveling, not allocating stands for away team supporters, and stopping the sale of tickets designated for them.
These urgent steps aim to ensure the continuity of competitions in a normal manner, enhance security and safety inside stadiums, and protect all elements of the game to preserve sportsmanship spirit.
