Women’s football enthusiasts are gearing up for an electrifying Casablanca derby today, Wednesday, between Raja Club Athletic and Wydad Athletic Club in the quarterfinals of the 2024-2025 Throne Cup. The highly anticipated match will be held at the Raja Club Academy stadium, with both teams vying for a spot in the semi-finals.
Raja qualified for this round after defeating Nasr Sidi Moumen, while Wydad advanced directly after being exempted from the round of 16, adding a special competitive edge to the encounter.
Other quarter-final matches include strong clashes, most notably the capital derby between AS FAR and Union Touarga, the match between Renaissance Zemamra (Nahdat Berkane) and Union Youssoufia (Itihad Yaacoub El Mansour), in addition to the confrontation between Municipal Club Laâyoune and Raja Ait Iaaza.
