Former Spanish star Sergio Ramos is nearing a new step in his career by contributing to a project to acquire his boyhood club, Sevilla.
Spanish media reports revealed that the club is undergoing significant administrative changes, coinciding with the impending completion of a potential sale, following the dismissal of coach Matías Almeyda and his replacement by Luis García Plaza.
The same sources stated that “Five Eleven Capital” is currently precisely evaluating the club’s financial situation, a crucial step before proceeding with the deal.
It was also noted that the proposed financial offer, estimated at around 450 million euros, may be subject to some adjustments, especially given its connection to settling the club’s debts.
According to available information, the group led by Ramos is among the most prominent parties interested in purchasing the club, amid a positive atmosphere regarding the progress of negotiations after the bidding period closed.
It is worth noting that Ramos began his football career with Sevilla before moving to Real Madrid in 2005, where he made a name for himself as one of the world’s most prominent defenders, before having other experiences with Paris Saint-Germain, then returning for a short period to his boyhood club, and ending his professional career with Monterrey.
