New Roster for the Moroccan National Team in Preparation for Friendly Matches Against Ecuador and Paraguay

Mohamed Wahbi, head coach of the Morocco national football team, revealed the final list of players who will participate in the upcoming preparatory camp ahead of the friendly matches against the Ecuador and Paraguay national football teams, during a media meeting held at the Mohammed VI Football Complex.

The “Atlas Lions” are expected to face Ecuador on March 27 in Madrid, before facing Paraguay on March 31 in Lens, as part of the preparation program for upcoming competitions.

The list featured a number of players called up for the first time, most notably Issa Diop, Redouane Hlahal, and Yasser Zabidi, in an effort to renew the squad and give opportunities to new talents.

Complete list:

Goalkeepers: Mehdi Benabid, Yassine Bounou, Mehdi Harar.

Defenders: Achraf Hakimi, Noussair Mazraoui, Anas Salah Eddine, Sofiane Alakrawani, Zakaria El Wahedi, Shady Riyad, Redouane Hlahal, Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal, Issa Diop, Ismail Baouf.

Midfielders: Oussama Targal, Nael Ainawi, Rabie Harimat, Samir Al-Merabet, Azeddine Ounahi, Bilal Khanous, Ismail Sbabi.

Attackers: Abdel Samad El Alzouli, Chamseddine Talbi, Amin Adli, Sofiane Rahimi, Ayoub El Kaabi, Yassine Jaseem, Yasser Zabidi, Ibrahim Diaz.

On another note, the technical staff was strengthened by adding Youssef Hadji as a second assistant, alongside João Sacramento, as part of the reinforcement of the national team’s technical staff in the coming phase.
