Regragui Finalizes Morocco Squad for Crucial Cameroon Clash in AFCON Quarter-Finals

Walid Regragui, head coach of the Moroccan national team, has made his final selection regarding the players who will feature in Friday evening’s highly anticipated match against Cameroon. The quarter-final encounter of the “Morocco 2025” Africa Cup of Nations is set to take place at the Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.

The national coach has opted for a lineup that blends defensive solidity with attacking prowess, maintaining midfield balance for a match where the “Atlas Lions” aim to leverage home advantage and crowd support.

The starting eleven comprises the following players:

Yassine Bounou will start in goal. The defensive line features Noussair Mazraoui, Achraf Hakimi, Nayef Aguerd, and Adam Masina. The midfield trio consists of Naïl El Aïnaoui, Ismael Saibari, and Bilal El Khannouss.

In the forward line, Regragui has entrusted the attacking triumvirate of Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, Brahim Díaz, and Youssef En-Nesyri, seeking prolific goal-scoring to secure passage to the continental tournament’s semi-finals.

All eyes are on this African summit as the Moroccan national team aspires to continue its successful journey and compete strongly for the title against one of the continent’s most formidable teams.
